WATERJET CUTTING
NOW AVAILABLE

ADVANTAGES OF WATERJET CUTTING:

  • No Material Limitations - Cutting nearly any material. With the addition of the granular abrasive, a waterjet cutting machine can perform quality cuts on materials up to 200mm thickness.

  • No Heat Affected Zones - A major advantage of waterjet cutting is that no heat affected zones occurs due to the cold cutting method.

  • No Material Distortion - Using the cold cutting method, the waterjet creates a fine cut without distortion in the material, resulting in a smooth burr-free cut.

  • No Additional finishing processes - The immediate high cutting quality ensures a precise result, avoiding additional finishing process and increasing overall efficiency.

  • No Hazardous waste - The growing importance of environmentally friendly processes are becoming more apparent in the engineering industry. A significant advantage of the waterjet cutting is that it does not create any hazardous waste in the form of fume and gases, unlike other cutting technologies.

WHAT MATERIALS CAN WATERJETS CUT:

Waterjets cut using a combination of water and abraisive. A waterjet can cut virtually any material, with a few examples below:
